This past week, Eric and I excitedly went in to get our gender ultrasound check at the doctors only to be shocked with the following results: it's a GIRL (not a boy like we, and almost everyone else for that matter, had thought!) The only myth or lore out of all the ones that people talked to me about or performed on me (Tests) that said it would be a girl was the chinese chart thingy/ one. All the rest said a boy. I was pretty excited (especially after seeing all the cute little girls in their easter dresses this past sunday), but Eric just seemed quite shocked. I told him over the past month that it could possibly be a girl, and that he should stop calling it a boy all the time, but he was "so sure"... or so he thought! haha Who knew that all along, poor little isabella was in there, just taking the hits of being called a boy when she is a GIRL! lol... one of the ultrasound pics (out of the 4 we got/ were taken) shows her being quite fed up with being poked, prodded, etc. (trying to finally get her to flash her goodies so we could find out the gender) and just up and flipped herself upside down, mooned the camera STRAIGHT UP and was like "I'M A GIRL, ALRIGHT!?!?"
bahahaha needless to say, that's my girl! :D

Lastly, though, I am so excited to know what to start shopping for now, and what to look forward to!! YAY we are so excited for Isabella to get here this early fall! :D

we are so excited to hear the news. you're going to love having a girl. especially you eric. she's going to have you wrapped around her little finger. also having an oldest girl they tend to be more responsible.
Yay! Congrats - that's awesome. When you two started talking about how sure you were it was a boy I knew it would be a girl ;). Also I like the last little picture. So cute! And you can tell exactly what she's doing :D Congrats!!
