Ultrasound Dos! (lil over halfway point!)

Yesterday, Eric and I went in to get Isabella's halfway point/ main ultrasound~ yay! I was so dang excited to see more of her and to see her in action! She has been quite the mobile/ energetic baby so I was sure to get to see her doing acrobatics in there! Sure enough, I was right! During the ultrasound, she even stuck her tongue out at us while her head was turned to us, then when pulled it back in when she was facing the side. What a funny stinker! lol She already has her momma's attitude, and she is only 21 weeks old! baha... ah how i can't wait to meet her (outside my belly lol).
Also, Eric felt her kick him for the first time this past week or so during sacrament (of all times~ she was like.. we are in the right place right now~ hi daddy! :>) He seemed quite freaked out/ shocked/ yet excited to finally get to meet (more of) her. :> It was cute. In addition, while we were studying up on campus at the Y library, when he came up to talk to me, as soon as she heard her daddy she started kickin/ movin like crazy! She definitely knows her daddy's voice! I definitely think she is going to be a daddy's girl, already, lol. Too cute, huh?
Anyways, all went well with the ultrasound, and turns out we have an ultra healthy, happy, and uber energetic baby girl thus far! (she like would not even hold still for the doctor to get a heartbeat lol...) So here are six of the ultrasound pics... she is definitely getting way bigger! (along with my tummy lol). It's a GIRL!!! :D

This past week, Eric and I excitedly went in to get our gender ultrasound check at the doctors only to be shocked with the following results: it's a GIRL (not a boy like we, and almost everyone else for that matter, had thought!) The only myth or lore out of all the ones that people talked to me about or performed on me (Tests) that said it would be a girl was the chinese chart thingy/ one. All the rest said a boy. I was pretty excited (especially after seeing all the cute little girls in their easter dresses this past sunday), but Eric just seemed quite shocked. I told him over the past month that it could possibly be a girl, and that he should stop calling it a boy all the time, but he was "so sure"... or so he thought! haha Who knew that all along, poor little isabella was in there, just taking the hits of being called a boy when she is a GIRL! lol... one of the ultrasound pics (out of the 4 we got/ were taken) shows her being quite fed up with being poked, prodded, etc. (trying to finally get her to flash her goodies so we could find out the gender) and just up and flipped herself upside down, mooned the camera STRAIGHT UP and was like "I'M A GIRL, ALRIGHT!?!?"
bahahaha needless to say, that's my girl! :D

Lastly, though, I am so excited to know what to start shopping for now, and what to look forward to!! YAY we are so excited for Isabella to get here this early fall! :D

New place in Spanish Fork! :D

Eric and I have been moving to our way amazing, new place in Spanish Fork for the past few days, and... it is absolutely amazing! We are so blessed to have this brand new remodeled apartment for only 375 a month! The owners went to the Y and wanted to contribute back to education and be a blessing in newly married/ student's lives and so that is why they don't charge like a thousand dollars a month! So, I tell ya.. tithing blessings at work! :D I will try to get some pics of our new place up here soon. However, right now, we are currently getting our internet set- up, etc. and we won't have internet for a few days so... yeah.
OH! and the other day they also installed a BRAND new dishwasher in our kitchen too! so even all the appliances are brand new, including the new massive bathroom wall mirror that you could like use for the whole family at once while getting ready! I seriously like just go home and frolick and skip in utter bliss around our new place with utter joy like every day! :D

Recently went to the dentist (my uncle russ) - it was weird seeing him as "dentist Russ" haha. I told him so, too. I also told him that I was wondering how he never gets tired of looking up people's nostrils and smelling people's bad breath all day but he said everyone had been "clean" so far that morning so... baha! Apparently I only have a few lil cavities on the upper right, but will be getting fillings for those in the middle of April. Yay dental fillings! (super cavity prevention!!! ta da da DA!)

OH! and Eric and I get to find out the gender in like less than 3 weeks! we are so dang excited! how in the jank mother heffer .. or WHY ... do women NOT want to know? i mean.. what the heck? SOOO can't wait to find out! Also, I am so excited for my family to come out (for like the first time in like 15 years for my dad! yay dad for coming out!) and stay with us at our new place! We have an extra bedroom till the baby is born so they can stay in there and in the living room! Yay for having the whole family come out and stay at our new place! :D

Anyways, got to go and finish listening to class lecture haha... can't wait for the semester to be over and enjoy warmer weather! :D

baby's first ultrasound! :D

today eric and i went to get our baby's first ultrasound! we were told it would come around mid- end of september (18-24th?) however i feel it will come early. don't ask how i know lol. we know we are having one beautiful, healthy baby, and we are too excited to find out in 6 weeks the sex of the baby!! give me your guesses (boy or a girl) and i'll post to say what percent of ya said a boy and what percent of ya said a girl k?

ps. what do you recommend, a bassinet for the baby when it comes or a crib? i am thinking I am going to be different and just buy a bassinet... what do you think?

Moving to Spanish Fork!

A few weeks ago, although we live in a great apartment RIGHT next to campus, I felt the urge to find something cheaper/ better. Don't ask me why. So we asked around, and a while ago we got a number from our friends, the Johansens (who recently had a way cute baby boy! his name is alex) for a place with 2 bedrooms for only 375 a month! (like half of what we're paying right now and we only have one bedroom right now). However, there was a "wait list" and considering the gracious price I was like "eh.. we are NEVER gonna get that so i'll just move on haha," but I got a phone call randomly this past week from the owner telling me we could moving in starting april 1 or earlier to number 4, which happens to be the one that is having EVERYTHING remodeled brand new! the kitchen even has granite (niiiice) counter tops and more! we are so excited and feel so blessed to get this 2 bedroom place for so little a month, especially now that we have our little one coming this year! I couldn't help but tell eric after finding out and seeing the amazing place, "It's totally gotta be them tithin' blessings, I tell ya! The Lord sure does love us. Especially this week. baha." So, we are way excited to move in soon! Most likely, we will be moving in in a couple of weeks. We already have several offers for our contract here, but we are hoping to get someone who will be willing to move in one month earlier so we don't have to pay for April, the month we won't be here. Eric is going to pick up this like pretty much new large capacity washer and dryer we found by word of mouth (another steal! geesh we are lucky) for only like 200, and I am going to show off the apartment to friends today because it has been so sunny the past few days! yay spring is comin! (hopefully... haha).

Oh and also this week: I have noticed my stomach starting to grow bigger now. People are starting to notice! yay to the awkward "i look fat not pregnant" stage going away soon! haha. and secondly.. I helped my mom start her own facebook! it took me forever to get the dang thing running last night but I added a bunch of pple that she knows for her on there and she is up and runnin now for business people! so add her if ya get a chance. she is a pretty "cool" lady .. bahaha.. i know i know.. lame sauce but somebody had to say it!

First Baby Appointment! :D

Today, Eric and I went to our first baby appointment here in Provo. We are still awaiting the exact due date of our baby, aside from their guesstimate of 10 weeks along and due in the middle of september, though. Due to not being able to guess (I guess??) we are scheduled to get our first ultrasound to better pinpoint the baby's due date a week from today so.. wish us luck! we are so excited and almost everyone is pretty sure that it is going to be a boy. If so, the name Ethan still stands firmly. :> In addition, my doctor prescribed me anti-nausea meds so that I can actually begin to eat food again (apparently, after being weighed, I lost over 5 pounds in this past week alone... not good i know lol).. so.. yay food!!! I have been literally starving allll week lol.

In addition, apparently, fraternal twins run like crazy in both sides of my family like 2nd and 3rd generations back so.. I just know we are bound to have twins sometime! haha twice the baby, twice the fun as they say... :>

Baby excitement and sickness...

First official baby appointment on the 17th!
So far I have gotten the blood work done and it seems a whole bunch of other unfamiliar tests (i have never even gotten a shot or blood taken before now! aka never been hospitalized lol) and are just waiting till our appointment to find out the exact due date of the baby. We are very excited to find out! We feel it will come early september. Possibly on my sister's or my grandma's birthday!
Also, I recently heard about the old wives tale of the hair/ wedding ring test. Apparently, you take a piece of your own hair and put it through your wedding ring and dangle it over your stomach to find out the sex of the baby. If it dangles in a line then it's a boy. If it dangle's in a circle, then it's a girl. I tried the test and guess what it said... it's a boy!! Eric and I have felt it's a boy with like this weird severe surety for a few weeks. Don't ask lol. We just know haha. We are excited for (we think lol) Ethan to develop further! Apparently he is no bigger than an inch right now.
Aside from all this, this week has been my first week of nausea and until today, it has not been too bad. However, today, I awoke at 5 am feeling like I had dehydration cramps and severe nauseousness and this lasted all day long until this afternoon!

ps. any mom advice from those of you who are mommies already.. feel free to dish it out on me because this is our first! lol

K So... Eric and I are beginning to think that I am farther along than we thought judging by the size of my tummy...????? who knows. we will find out soon from the doctor though in February all that good stuff: due date, how far along we are, etc. We are way excited! I just hope that this is all just hormonal changes causing my newly swelling tummy this soon or I might be having twins or something at this rate! baha

Today Eric and I officially found out that we are pregnant! We are very excited (tho lil nervous considering it's going to be our first lol)! :> We are about a month along but will know if that's right soon enough at the doctor's. 

Everyone keeps telling us that we should name our child after them however.. we have sorta decided that if it's a boy his name will be Ethan. If it's a girl her name will be Isabella (bella for short). We are pretty sure it will be a boy though. Either way we are way stoked!
