Eric & I just moved up to anchorage here last month and are working for APX corp. and apparently livin large! eric works long hours and I work at the office most days. Lately, during our free time we go to the anchorage temple, watch late night movies, go running, play football/ frisbee, dance, hike/ nature walks, and stay up way late with the sun never really setting at all until after 3 am and then coming right back up (so basically it goes straight across the horizon.. way cool to see) at 5 am again! makes it kinda hard to sleep, especially for eric but they have these window cover thingies called "eclipse" everyone uses and so we are going to hopefully get some for eric! lol
Later this month we hope to drive down 2 hours or so and check out seward and all the crazy fishers cheek to cheek hookin each other's ears and go kayaking maybe. Due to work and gas prices and alaska being so far away from the US, we all (as families) share 2-3 cars so we have to make do with what we got when we got it! lol
The people here are wayyy nice so far however, eric and i are wondering as to why we always see common people digging out of the trash for like... treasures or something??! apparently its common here to do so. i mean, who needs goodwill / DI when ya have garbage bins right?? lol
